Does BRDG hold my users’ funds?

No. BRDG never holds funds or private keys. Your user’s wallet signs every transaction.

Do I need an account or an API key?

No. Every endpoint is open to anyone, subject to rate limits. Partners that call BRDG from a server for many users can ask for an API key with higher limits.

Why didn’t the venue with the biggest number win?

Either a wallet cannot sign that venue’s quote on this route (it shows executable: false), or its headline figure was higher than what actually arrives after fees. BRDG ranks on what arrives. See Ranking.

Is the quoted amount what my user receives?

It is what the venue quoted, with the platform fee already taken off. minAmountOutAtomic is the least the transfer can deliver. If a different token arrives, the transfer ends as PARTIAL; check receivedAsset and receivedAmountAtomic on the transfer.

What does quote_drifted mean?

If a quote is close to expiring when you build it, BRDG asks the venue for a fresh price first. If the price has moved more than the allowed amount, the build is refused and details contains both amounts. Get a new quote.

My user signed but I never called submit. Where is the transfer?

It exists with the status PENDING_SIGNATURE, and you can read it by id. Submit the transaction hash to move it forward.

Can I choose the venue?

Yes. Pass the quoteId of any executable quote to POST /bridge/build. It must come from the same quote response.

What does a transfer cost?

Nothing, unless the chosen route beat the alternatives by more than 10 bps. Then the platform fee is 5 to 15 bps of the amount sent, capped at $10, taken in the token being sent. Venue fees are included in every quoted amount. See Fees.

Is there a rate limit?

Yes. Each IP address and each sender wallet can make 10 quote requests, 10 build requests and 10 submit requests a minute. Reading markets and transfers is not limited. A 429 response includes retryAfterMs. See Rate limits.

How do I get higher rate limits?

Ask. Contact @kernlog on Telegram or kernlog@print.world with what you are building and the volume you expect. Partners get an API key, sent as x-brdg-api-key, that applies the per-IP limit to each of your users’ userIp instead of your server, with a higher total limit for your key. See Higher rate limits and partner access.

How do I know when a transfer is done?

Poll GET /bridge/transfers/{id} until status is COMPLETED, PARTIAL, REFUNDED, FAILED or ABANDONED, or use waitForTransfer in the SDK. See Track a transfer.
