If you send transfers through BRDG, you can charge your own fee on top and have it paid straight to your wallet. There is nothing to register. This page covers your own fee as an integrator. BRDG’s referral codes, which give a user 10% off the platform fee, are a separate field: see Your users’ referral codes.

Fields

Add both fields to POST /bridge/quote or POST /fastfill/quote, or neither: The referral carries over from the quote to POST /bridge/build, so you do not need to send it again.

How much you earn

Your share is charged on every transfer you refer, including transfers where BRDG charges no platform fee. It is added on top of the platform fee, never taken out of it. Your share is capped at $10 per transfer, converted into the token being sent at BRDG’s price for it. This is separate from the platform’s own $10 cap. fees.referral.amountAtomic shows the amount after the cap.

The wallet must match the source chain

Your share is paid on the source chain, so referralWallet must be valid there. An EVM address on a transfer from Solana is refused with 400 invalid_referral_wallet, and a rate outside 0 to 15 with 400 invalid_referral_bps. If you refer transfers from more than one kind of chain, keep one wallet for each, and pick the right one per quote.

What your users see

The quote shows your share next to the platform fee, in the same token, before anything is signed:
referral is null only when the quote named no referrer. platform can be null while referral is not: that transfer saved too little for a platform fee, and you are still paid.

How you are paid

Your share is paid to your wallet inside the transaction the user signs for the bridge, never as a transaction of its own. On Solana it is an extra instruction in that transaction. On EVM it is a fee step in the one atomic bundle, when the build request sends atomicBatch: true. Where neither can carry it (a transfer from Tron, or an EVM build without atomicBatch), your share is not charged, and the build’s referralCapture is none. Nothing is held back and paid out later.

Fast fill

Both fields work on POST /fastfill/quote on exactly the same terms, with the same ceiling and the same both-or-neither rule. One lane cannot pay you, and says so rather than promising it. On a fast fill the venue relays, the user signs a message and the venue’s relayer sends the source transaction, so there is no transaction of the user’s for your payout to ride in. Those rows are quoted at referralBps: 0 with fees.referral: null, so the number you show your user is the number they pay. A fast fill the user sends themselves is an ordinary transaction and pays you normally; quotes[].referralFeeAmountAtomic tells you per row which is which. The one exception is a source chain where BRDG cannot collect fees at all. On those chains neither the platform fee nor your share is charged.

Checking a payout

Each fee appears in the fees list of GET /bridge/transfers/{id}, with a kind of platform or referral and one of these statuses:

Your users’ referral codes

If a user arrives with a BRDG referral code, send it as referralCode on the quote. The user pays 10% less platform fee, and the code’s owner earns points for the transfer. It does not change your share: referralWallet and referralBps work the same with or without it. The transfer is credited to the code’s owner unless the user was already referred on brdg.now, in which case their own referrer keeps it, or sender belongs to the code’s owner. A malformed or unknown code is ignored, and the quote charges the full fee.
